Kathy Bachmann, EVP Product, Throtle

Kathy Bachmann leads the development of innovative data-centric product solutions for Throtle. She brings a unique perspective from over 25 years’ experience in marketing, strategy, and business/product development roles working within Fortune 200 brands and with them delivering marketing technology and data solutions. Prior to Throtle, Kathy led the Americas as EVP and Managing Director for MarketShare, a predictive marketing analytics and technology company that demonstrates marketing ROI for large brand advertiser clients. MarketShare was private equity-backed Software as a Service (Saas) company acquired by Neustar. At Neustar, she led Customer Success across all marketing services and technology product lines.

In previous experience, Kathy held senior marketing and strategy roles at American Express, Merrill Lynch, Quest Diagnostics, and Cendant Corporation (Orbitz, Wyndham hotels, Avis, Budget, Travelport, etc.). While at Cendant, Kathy was a pioneer in building a single customer view of over 70MM customers in the U.S. and generating incremental revenues through advanced targeted marketing across all inbound and outbound channels. She began her career as a management consultant with A.T. Kearney.

Kathy is an advocate for women in analytics and data, serving on the Advisory Board for the Advertising Research Foundation (ARF). She’s a frequent speaker with past speaking engagements at the ANA, Wharton Customer Analytics Initiative, DMA, and more. She received her MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in strategy and finance. Her bachelor’s degree is also in business from The Ohio State University, with majors in logistics and marketing.
